Discrete Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) Coated Titanium Mesh Anode
ECOANODE’s MMO coated discrete titanium mesh anode adopts a titanium mesh with a tubular structure coated with mixed metal oxides as its core substrate, and is combined with titanium rods through a welding process to form an anode assembly that possesses both adaptability to tubular spaces and structural stability.
This unique design delivers significant operational advantages, including the ability to operate at a low current density, which translates into superior power-saving performance and an extended operational lifespan. The MMO coating exhibits excellent electrochemical stability and boasts an outstanding bond with the underlying titanium substrate, resisting delamination even under continuous operation. These properties make it an ideal, long-life solution for protecting critical and confined assets such as the internal surfaces of water storage tanks, pipes, and other complex structures where distributed current output and minimal maintenance are paramount.
Primarily used for cost-effective cathodic protection of heavily reinforced concrete elements in compact structures such as beams, columns, or piles located in tidal or splash zones, where ribbon anodes often cause grout acidification.
