Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) Coated Titanium Ribbon Anode
The ribbon structure of the MMO coated titanium ribbon anode combines flexible installation characteristics with a large surface area, enabling more uniform current distribution and higher current-carrying capacity. In practical applications, the MMO-coated titanium ribbon anode is typically integrated with titanium conductor strips to form a cathodic protection system, primarily used for the impressed current cathodic protection of above-ground storage tank bottoms and reinforced concrete structures. Application
MMO ribbon anode is mainly used for cathodic protection of above-ground storage tank bottoms, including new tanks with secondary containment liners and existing tanks with double-bottom construction. It is also applied to reinforced concrete structures exposed to soil or moisture, providing long-term corrosion protection in harsh environments.
